Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Platform Lead to manage and operate platform services in a tenant environment above the hypervisor level.

You will ensure reliability, security, and operability of container platforms and COTS components such as MongoDB, Nginx, MQTT, IBM MQ, ArcGIS, etc. The role leads a team of 4–6 engineers and requires strong Kubernetes experience and OS hardening.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years infrastructure/platform experience.
• Strong Kubernetes / container platform experience.
• Experience with Docker / Podman.
• Experience installing and managing MongoDB, MSSQL, Nginx, Apache.
• Experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ, MQTT, Kafka equivalent).
• Understanding of network, firewall, load balancer (for troubleshooting).
• Linux administration and OS hardening.
• Monitoring tools (EG Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience in government / regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform operations team for container platforms and COTS services.
• Manage incidents, changes, RCA, and platform lifecycle.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot COTS components.
• Work with application and AFE teams for integration and issue resolution.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and architecture documentation.
• Ensure monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure OS hardening compliance (golden image).
• Drive capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Lead DR/BCP activities.
• Lead a team of 4–6 infrastructure engineers.
