Job summary

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Research Nurse (rank of Nurse) in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 537292). The role focuses on coordinating and conducting Phase 1 and early-phase trials at the Phase 1 Unit, with duties spanning study planning, data capture, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Requirements include a Nursing degree, HK Nursing Council registration, and good English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certificate and venipuncture cert an advantage.
• Experience in clinical trial operations and GCP knowledge an advantage.
• Experience with electronic data capture devices an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills; detail-minded and self-motivated.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical trial operations.
• Plan and manage studies.
• Execute procedures, data collection, documents management, medical emergency management, facilities and quality management.
• Communicate with research teams and collaborators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally work outside normal hours.
