Job summary

Saint Francis University invites applications for the Part-time Research Assistant position in the S.K. Yee School of Health Sciences to support a project on Fibromyalgia syndrome in Hong Kong and its impacts on patient quality of life.

The appointee will assist in project management, coordinate with partners and the project team, prepare research material, support recruitment, data collection, entry and analysis, conduct literature searches, and help prepare abstracts, manuscripts and reports.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology or related disciplines.
• Research knowledge in quantitative studies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SPSS.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the research project.
• Coordinate with partners and project team.
• Prepare research materials.
• Assist with recruitment, data collection, data entry and data analysis.
• Conduct literature searches.
• Assist in the preparation of abstracts, manuscripts and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
