Job summary

HKU SPACE invites applications for a Part-time Teacher in Different Languages in the College of Humanities and Law. The appointee will teach German, Portuguese, Greek, Czech, Dutch, Turkish, Polish, or Hungarian to adult or teenage learners in afternoon/evening classes or weekend daytime sessions.

Applicants should have native or near-native fluency, a recognised first degree or teaching qualification, and at least two years of teaching experience with working knowledge of English.

• Native or near-native fluency in the target language(s).
• A recognised first degree in language studies, education or related subject, or a teaching qualification.
• At least two years of teaching experience and a working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Teach German, Portuguese, Greek, Czech, Dutch, Turkish, Polish or Hungarian to adult or teenage learners.
• Classes on weekday afternoon/evening or weekend daytime.
• Maintain professional care for students and adhere to institutional policies.
