Job summary

The School of Continuing Education (SCE) at Hong Kong Baptist University invites applications for Part-time Instructors for a project on the 8-week GreenCare Programme addressing diabetes, physical activity, and wellbeing in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include physical assessments, leading supervised exercise sessions, supervising student helpers, and collaborating with the PI and clinicians to follow the study protocol.

Qualifications

• Recognized fitness certifications (CSCS/ACSM) or equivalent.
• Experience leading exercise groups for chronic conditions or older adults preferred.
• Good Cantonese, strong teamwork and communication; CPR/AED certificates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct baseline and follow-up physical assessments and design personalized exercise prescriptions.
• Lead 1.5-hour supervised exercise sessions, ensure safety and proper intensity.
• Supervise student helpers from Nursing, Physiotherapy and Physical Education disciplines.
• Collaborate with PI and Research Assistants to adhere to the study protocol.
