Taylor Root in Hong Kong seeks a paralegal for a fast-paced funds team in a top international law firm environment. You will conduct regulatory research, draft documents, and support SFC licensing and fund authorisation applications.

The role requires at least 1 year of funds experience in a reputable firm, fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and a law or related degree. SFC licensing knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of funds-focused experience in a reputable regional or international law firm.
• Excellent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• University degree in law or business-related discipline.
• Knowledge of SFC licensing would be highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct legal research for regulatory work and draft documents per lawyer instructions.
• Undertake SFC licensing applications for asset management and other clients with drafting and liaison tasks.
• Assist with SFC fund authorisation applications, drafting application documents and coordinating processes.
• Review Chinese translations of selected legal documents.
