Job summary

Stephenson Harwood LLP in Hong Kong is seeking a funds lawyer with 2-6 PQE to join our finance team. You will work on a broad range of funds matters, from structuring to regulatory compliance, alongside an international client base.

The successful candidate will contribute to client service, draft documentation, conduct in-depth research, and mentor junior colleagues as the team grows. Proficiency in Chinese (written/spoken) is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hong Kong qualified (desirable)
• 2-6 PQE with proven experience in fund structuring and regulatory compliance
• Chinese language (written and spoken) capability is desirable
• Enthusiastic with good communication, writing and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Take instructions from clients and work with the team to advise on funds related work
• Draft and negotiate documentation
• Undertake advanced research and analysis
• Project manage processes from structuring to fund launch
• Provide guidance on funds and asset management
• Build and maintain client relationships through excellent client service and business development
• Mentor and develop junior team members
