Job summary

CICC in Hong Kong seeks a finance professional to support the trading desk with daily booking and settlement, including counterparty settlements, valuation statements, and settlement reports. The role also manages OTC derivative client accounts and assists DMA setup, requiring strong English and a securities licence.

Collaborate with sales and other teams to drive digitalisation, provide training, and ensure prompt resolution of client issues while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience, including derivatives trading.
• Solid understanding of overseas secondary market trading rules and derivative product structures.
• Hold a securities industry licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the trading desk’s daily booking and settlement processes, including counterparty payment settlements, and the sending of valuation statements and settlement reports.
• Assist the trading desk in allocating funds for trading accounts.
• Manage OTC derivative client accounts and coordinate client DMA account setup and trading.
• Conduct regular training for sales staff on OTC derivative businesses to enhance their familiarity with the WI trading process.
• Maintain close communication with internal sales personnel to address client issues and needs promptly.
• Collaborate with other business teams to advance the trading desk’s digitalisation and support company initiatives.
