Job summary

Urban Renewal Authority in Hong Kong seeks a Manager, Works and Contracts (Safety) on a 3-year contract to oversee audits, inspections, and performance reviews for compliance with OS&H management systems and safety plans. Possession of both RSO and RSA qualifications is mandatory.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years post-RSO qualification.

Responsibilities

Oversee audits, inspections, and performance reviews for OS&H compliance.
Manage safety and construction-related matters for JV and self-delivered projects, including high-risk works.
Supervise Resident Safety Officers and review construction methods for compliance.
Conduct OS&H inspections, identify hazards, and lead safety improvements and awareness initiatives.
Review safety submissions and monitor compliance across projects.
Liaise with external stakeholders and support audits.
Investigate accidents and drive corrective actions; enhance OS&H strategies.
Drive implementation of 4S Smart Site Safety System and promote safety technologies.
