Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Optics Engineering / Physics/Photonics etc (as stated in education).
• Experience with optical design software, optical alignment and optical testing.
• 2D drawing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in high magnification optics and LED illumination are advantageous.
• Familiar with lenses, specifications, design trade-offs, basic optics modeling techniques, and light measurement equipment are desirable.
• Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Candidates with diverse optics backgrounds can be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new optic / illumination components/system.
• Resolve optical / illumination issues.
• Identify necessary and desirable improvements of vision optical system.
