Job summary

City University of Hong Kong seeks Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (Ophthalmology) in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Appointees will build world-class research programs in alignment with strategic areas and must hold a veterinary degree with doctoral qualification by appointment time.

The role may be on clinical or tenure track, with generous start-up support and opportunities for leadership in teaching and research within the BVM program.

Qualifications

• A veterinary qualification recognized for registration as a veterinary surgeon.
• Board certification in the relevant discipline is required for appointment at Clinical Associate Professor level or above.
• PhD is preferred for clinical track and essential for tenure track.
• Experience in clinical teaching, service and research is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to training highly professional veterinary clinicians and advance animal health through clinical research.
• Teach across the BVM curriculum and supervise clinical rotations.
• Take up administrative duties to support the College and Department; engage with the local community.
