Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to manage local regulatory reports and data collection. You will ensure data accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields, 3-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, and strong analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL. Professional qualifications like HKICPA or ACCA will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in regulatory reporting in banking.
• Familiarity with Basel III, liquidity returns, and large exposures.
• Professional qualification in HKICPA/ACCA/FRM is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Local regulatory reports, surveys and Head Office, including data collection, validation, and submission;
• Develop and implement internal control procedures in order to ensure data accuracy of regulatory reporting;
• Manage regulatory documentation with audit trails and retention protocols;
• Perform data reconciliation and governance;
• Liaise with handle queries and requests from regulatory institutions, external and internal auditors by coordinating cross-department responses (Finance/Risk/IT, etc);
• Participate in UAT for system developments and enhancements;
• Handle/participate in ad hoc projects, if required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above preferable in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science and other related disciplines;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting in banking industry. Familiar with Local regulatory reporting requirements. Hands‑on experience with Basel III, liquidity returns and large exposures;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL applications;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, and Mandarin;
• Detail-oriented, Strong analytical skills and as a good team player, with cross-department collaboration ability;
• Professional qualification in HKICPA/ACCA/FRM or other professional accounting bodies would be an advantage.
