Job summary

ICBC (Asia) is seeking a regulatory reporting professional to join its controls and governance team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on data collection, validation, and submission to local regulators, with cross-department collaboration across Finance, Risk, and IT.

You should have a bachelor degree and 3–5 years in banking regulatory reporting, strong English and Mandarin, and proficiency in Excel and SQL. This full-time position offers growth within a leading financial institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above preferable in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science and other related disciplines;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting in banking industry.Familiar with Local regulatory reporting requirements. Hands-on experience with Basel III, liquidity returns and large exposures;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL applications;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, and Mandarin;
• Detail-oriented, Strong analytical skills and as a good team player, with cross-department collaboration ability;
• Professional qualification in HKICPA/ACCA/FRM or other professional accounting bodies would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Local regulatory reports, surveys and Head Office, including data collection, validation, and submission;
• Develop and implement internal control procedures in order to ensure data accuracy of regulatory reporting;
• Manage regulatory documentation with audit trails and retention protocols;
• Perform data reconciliation and governance;
• Liaise with handle queries and requests from regulatory institutions, external and internal auditors by coordinating cross-department responses (Finance/Risk/IT, etc);
• Participate in UAT for system developments and enhancements;
• Handle/participate in ad hoc projects, if required.
