Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Network Architect to lead a design review and readiness assessment for a large-scale telecom network. You will evaluate redundancy, segmentation, capacity, and integration readiness, and produce architecture diagrams and risk mitigations.

The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, security protocols, and high-availability frameworks, with onsite work at HKIWMF via shuttle from Tsuen Wan West.

Qualifications

• Possess proven expertise as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer within large-scale enterprise or telecommunications environments.
• Strong working knowledge of network architecture, security protocols, routing, switching, and high-availability frameworks.
• Hold a valid Safety Card (Green Card) for site access requirements.
• Available to work onsite at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau) via shuttle ferry transport from Tsuen Wan West.
• Exhibit strong analytical, risk assessment, and technical documentation skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough review of the existing network design to ensure alignment with corporate cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
• Evaluate network architecture, focusing on redundancy, resiliency, segmentation, capacity, and overall integration readiness.
• Perform detailed baseline assessments against established enterprise network and security guidelines.
• Identify potential design gaps, operational risks, single points of failure, and scalability constraints.
• Validate high availability designs, dual uplink configurations, and cross-system redundancy mechanisms.
• Analyze network capacity and performance metrics, including bandwidth usage, latency factors, and future growth assumptions.
• Deliver comprehensive network architecture diagrams illustrating both current and target state environments.
• Generate detailed technical reports covering single point of failure analysis, performance assessments, and risk registers with recommended mitigations.
