Job summary

Eclipse Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm seeking an experienced Team Lead to guide the DevOps group, overseeing CI/CD pipelines and the core infrastructure of the Trading platform. This onsite role can be based in Hong Kong or Sydney with work authorization in Sydney.

You will mentor engineers, define the technical roadmap, ensure uptime, scalability, and performance, and collaborate across development, trading, and infrastructure teams to maintain production readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years work experience in a DevOps/Systems Engineering or similar role with proven success leading production engineering teams in real-time or low-latency environments.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train DevOps engineers, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Drive DevOps strategy, roadmap, and execution across global trading production environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure software delivery.
• Lead improvements in automation, deployment workflows, and monitoring systems to increase robustness.
• Ensure production readiness for new exchanges, trading strategies, and infrastructure changes in collaboration with development, trading, and infrastructure teams.
• Represent the team in leadership forums and align objectives with broader business goals.
