Job summary

Abbott is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Hong Kong, responsible for ensuring compliant scientific exchange and sharing insights with healthcare professionals. The MSL plays a crucial role in supporting oncology brand launches, developing partnerships with KOLs, and participating in clinical studies.

Preferred candidates will have an advanced degree in a scientific discipline, experience in oncology Medical Affairs, and fluency in English. This hybrid position combines field and office-based work.

Qualifications

• Degree required in a scientific discipline like BPharm, PharmD, MD, or PhD.
• Experience in oncology-focused Medical Affairs role is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and a regional language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific input to support oncology brand launches.
• Build partnerships with oncology KOLs for scientific exchange.
• Facilitate discussions between Abbott staff and external KOLs.
• Contribute to clinical studies and Medical Affairs projects.
• Develop scientific materials for external use.
• Answer medical queries from external and internal stakeholders.
• Share insights from HCPs with cross-functional teams.
• Support internal teams with scientific updates.
• Assist in launch readiness activities.
• Operate within medical governance and compliance obligations.
