Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Resident Building Services Engineer to lead inspection activities, ensure quality control, and coordinate with design teams to resolve on-site issues. The role emphasizes building services supervision, testing, commissioning, and coordination with subcontractors.

Candidates should have HKIE membership or equivalent and a minimum of three years post-qualification local experience in building services.

Qualifications

• Member of a professional institution recognized for corporate membership of HKIE (Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services) or equivalent.
• At least three years of relevant post-qualification local experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Building Services Inspection Team for mock ups and factory inspections.
• Oversee materials, workmanship and installation methods for building services works.
• Check and endorse compliance with Client’s Requirements and Specifications.
• Coordinate with Design Team on defect rectification and design changes.
• Monitor testing and commissioning works and prepare progress reports.
• Attend meetings and assist in design, estimation and handover activities.
