We are looking for a responsible and proactive Occupational Therapist (Part-time) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities, and developing personalized intervention plans to help them regain independence in daily activities. This role also involves prescribing and fitting adaptive equipment, modifying home or work environments, and providing clinical support to ensure optimal client care and rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities

Communicate assessment results, therapy plans, goals and outcome measures to clients and other relevant stakeholders.

Conduct functional assessment to determine required therapy interventions.

Deliver appropriate interventions to facilitate clients’ occupational performance based on findings, goals and treatment plans.

Empower clients and caregivers with methods to enhance health, mobility and functions through self-management strategies.

Plan continuing education programmes for support staff.

Working closely in an interdisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of clinical practice and professional conduct for comprehensive client care.

Requirements

Degree holder in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, at least 5-year post-qualification of experience in occupational therapy after attainment of the Certificate of Registration Part I.

Holder of Certificate of Registration Part I with valid practising certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.

Post-graduate qualification will be an advantage.

Work experience in cognitive and stroke rehabilitation is preferrable.

Mature, service-oriented, attentive to details, empathy and commitment to patient care.
