Job summary

Evergreen Way Education Centre (Sai Ying Pun) seeks a tutor to teach S1–S3 Chinese, English and Mathematics, and to mark classwork and homework while preparing engaging materials.

Qualifications

• Education level: Higher Diploma or above.
• Strong foundation in Chinese, English and Mathematics with HKCEE/HKDSE grade D or above.
• Priority given to candidates studying Science, Education or Language faculties.
• Able to maintain class order, lead groups and solve problems independently.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn and take initiative; good communication and presentation skills.
• No prior teaching experience required; tutorial-centre experience preferred.
• Candidates will undergo systematic training; remuneration and promotion prospects offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct S1–S3 Chinese/English/Mathematics classes and mark classwork/homework.
• Manage primary homework classes, mark homework, assist with dictations and revisions, and prepare teaching materials.
• Maintain class order.
• Prepare students' progress reports.
• Contact students' parents regularly.
• Assist with reception duties.
