Job summary

Susquehanna International is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Intern for a 10-week immersive program designed for students who are passionate about building scalable ML systems at the intersection of ML, data, and markets.

As an intern, you will work on training pipelines across GPU infrastructure, explore inference and deployment for production trading systems, and help build the data infrastructure behind ongoing research.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a technical field.
• Intention to graduate and begin full-time employment by August 2028.
• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ is a plus.
• Hands-on ML experience beyond API usage; trained at scale.
• Experience with distributed training and GPU programming.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize training pipelines across GPU infrastructure.
• Work on inference and deployment for production trading systems.
• Develop data infrastructure for large market datasets.
• Profile and benchmark ML workloads and contribute to libraries.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship and participate in ML/quant education.
