Job summary

Nomura is seeking an Associate to join its Middle Office team in Hong Kong, focusing on cash equities operations. You will engage with senior business and corporate stakeholders to ensure accurate trade processing, settlement, and custody support across markets.

You will lead reconciliation with front office systems and external counterparties, supervise junior staff, and drive improvements and automation while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and risk controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/math or related subject.
  • Minimum 5 years in middle office, preferably cash equities.
  • Strong understanding of the Asia equities market.
  • Experience in major trading platforms and settlement systems.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership to drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL or other tech tools will be useful.

Responsibilities

Role Description

  • Daily cash equities processes for Australia market support local and overseas client.

Requirements
