Job summary

China Duty Free Group Co., Ltd. seeks a Merchandising & Planning Supervisor (Beauty) in Hong Kong to drive product assortments, forecast demand, and optimize margins for luxury beauty categories.

You will negotiate with suppliers, partner with logistics and marketing, and lead cross-functional initiatives to elevate the brand experience. The role requires 5+ years in luxury retail merchandising, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP/Ariba and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising.
• Strong analytical skills with inventory, sales data, and margin analysis.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle, supply chain, and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, select, and purchase product assortments for Beauty aligned with brand image and season trends.
• Analyze historical sales and market trends to forecast demand and manage budgets.
• Monitor stock levels and optimize replenishment and markdowns to maximize turnover.
• Negotiate with suppliers/brands on pricing, margins and terms to secure best deals.
• Collaborate with logistics, marketing and store operations for promotions and launches.
• Conduct market research and store visits to identify trends and opportunities.
