Job summary

ETERNITY CONSULTANTS (HK) Ltd is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee end‑to‑end design and development processes for innovative products. You will lead concept, prototype, and manufacturing stages, ensuring reliability and producibility across headphone, audio, wireless, or lighting domains.

The role requires strong 3D CAD expertise (Pro/E/SolidWorks), and fluency in English and Chinese to coordinate with overseas clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong background in mechanical design across product development stages.
• Experience with plastic materials, injection molding, and small electronics is essential.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication for stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools, especially Pro/E/SolidWorks.

• Oversee mechanical engineering processes across the product development cycle (ID analysis, design, prototyping, manufacturing).
• Design reliable, maintainable mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings for fit, form, and function verification.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and drive project outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to size and strength of components and verify designs.
• Interface with suppliers and SMEs to identify and address technical risks.

Job description

• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of crucial mechanical engineering processes throughout the product development cycle, including ID analysis, conceptualization and design, prototype formulation, and manufacturing processes.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies emphasizing reliability, and maintainability.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings to verify the mechanical design’s fit, form, and function
• Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine the size and strength of components. Solve design problems and check computations, contributing to the analytical design.
• Interface with suppliers and subject matter experts to identify and address technical risks.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 year in mechanical design in headphone, audio, wireless OR Lighting in trading
• Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and experience in plastic injection.
• Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred).
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
