Job summary

CNCB (Hong Kong) Investment Limited is seeking an experienced Market Risk Manager to identify, monitor and analyze risk across multiple financial products in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead quantitative risk models, measure market and counterparty credit risk capital, and drive the maintenance and enhancement of risk systems and analytical tools. The role requires strong collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of market risk management experience in financial institutions.
• Familiar with various financial market businesses and products.
• Strong quantitative and statistical analysis skills; proficient in risk measurement models.
• Excellent communication, writing and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor and analyze relevant market risk for various financial market products;
• Manage market risk quantitative models, as well as the measurement of market risk and counterparty credit risk capital;
• Lead the maintenance and enhancement of risk management system and analytical tools;
• Lead the market risk assessment of new products and new businesses, and review the corresponding operation and risk management policies and procedures;
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics or related disciplines from a recognized university, with FRM, CFA or CPA certification is preferred;
• At least 5 years of market risk management experience in investment banks, securities brokers or well-known commercial banks;
• Familiar with various financial market businesses and products;
• Experience in quantitative analysis and modeling, familiar with various market risk measurement models and good at statistical analysis;
• Strong Excel and programming skills (e.g. VBA/ Python) are preferred;
• High sense of responsibility, strong learning and research ability, good communication, coordination and writing skills, strong dedication and team spirit, can adapt to the high intensity of the work pace;
