Pico International (HK) Ltd is seeking an experienced BI Project Delivery Manager to lead the implementation and ongoing support of data and BI solutions across the Group. You will turn business requirements and designs into working solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and can be supported after launch.

The role requires collaboration with Finance, IT, data engineers and external vendors to drive delivery, resolve issues, and maintain solutions that meet business needs and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Data, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of BI, data projects, or Finance/IT delivery.
• Experience gathering business requirements and managing projects from start to finish.
• Good understanding of Finance, databases, and BI reporting.
• Experience managing developers and external vendors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL Server, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end BI and data projects, from requirements gathering to development, testing, and go-live.
• Engage business users to understand their needs, conduct workshops, and translate requirements into clear deliverables.
• Drive Microsoft Fabric implementation, including data migration, integration, and report development.
• Coordinate with business users, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
• Review completed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Manage ongoing BI enhancements, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Manage the day-to-day workload of internal data engineers, developers, and external vendors.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality.
• Monitor project costs, vendor performance, and resource utilisation.
• Resolve day-to-day delivery issues and elevate matters requiring management decisions.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced BI Project Delivery Manager to lead the implementation and ongoing support of data and business intelligence solutions across the Group. The role is responsible for turning business requirements and technical designs into working solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet business needs, and can be properly supported after launch. The successful candidate will work closely with business teams, Finance, IT, data engineers, and external vendors to drive delivery and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. BI & Data Project Delivery

• Lead end-to-end BI and data projects, from requirements gathering to development, testing, and go-live.

• Engage business users to understand their needs, conduct workshops, and translate requirements into clear deliverables.

• Drive Microsoft Fabric implementation, including data migration, integration, and report development.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Degree in Finance, Business, Data, Computer Science, or related field.

• At least 8 years of experience in BI, data projects, or Finance/IT delivery.

• Experience gathering business requirements and managing projects from start to finish.

• Good understanding of Finance, databases, and BI reporting.

• Experience managing developers and external vendors.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL Server, or Power BI is an advantage.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
