Job summary

Prudential plc in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled professional to support the Director, Private Asset, in day-to-day execution of private investment activities. You will conduct due diligence, prepare investment analyses, committee papers, and governance materials to facilitate disciplined deployment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis for private-asset opportunities and support due-diligence workstreams.
• Assist with portfolio construction analysis, deployment planning, and investment documentation.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and post-investment activities, including data maintenance and governance reporting.
• Track and execute deployment prerequisites, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure conditions are met.
• Support deployment activities and system onboarding, including reporting enhancements.

This role supports the Director, Private Asset, in the day‑to‑day execution of private investment activities. The position plays a hands‑on role, supporting due diligence, preparing investment analysis, committee paper, and governance materials, maintaining deployment pipelines and trackers, and assisting with deployment planning. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to support governance, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness, as well as assisting with ongoing portfolio monitoring. The role also supports maintenance of data, tracking of approved guardrails, and support for deployment activities.

Job Descriptions

• Conduct research and analysis for private‑asset opportunities, assist with investment search activities, maintain and update deployment pipelines and trackers, and support due‑diligence workstreams across private‑asset strategies to facilitate timely and disciplined deployment.
• Support day‑to‑day implementation of the private‑asset platform and framework, including assisting with portfolio construction analysis, deployment planning, investment structuring documentation, and improving the efficiency and execution of deployment activities.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and post‑investment activities, including compiling performance information, maintaining data, tracking compliance status and approved guardrails, and assisting with routine risk‑oversight processes across private assets.
• Assist in tracking and executing approved conditions and deployment prerequisites such as maintaining condition trackers, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure conditions are met across each deployment stage.
• Support delivery of assigned private‑asset initiatives and projects such as system onboarding activities, documentation and reporting enhancements, coordination of deployment activities, improve operational readiness and reduce bottlenecks.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Finance or related discipline.
