Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is assisting a premier financial institution in Hong Kong to recruit a Manager for Investment Research & Advisory (Multi-Asset). The role focuses on developing firm investment views, conducting cross-asset research, and supporting asset allocation for clients and internal stakeholders.

The candidate will monitor global markets, produce research publications, and translate insights into actionable client solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in investment research, fund research, asset allocation, investment advisory or portfolio/product analysis.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• CFA qualification or progress towards CFA would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-asset investment research across equities, fixed income, funds and other relevant asset classes.
• Monitor global financial markets, macroeconomic developments and investment themes to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare regular investment research reports, market commentaries and publications for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Review and evaluate public funds and investment products, including performance, positioning, strategy and suitability within different market environments.
• Support asset allocation and investment strategy discussions by providing research, market insights and product recommendations.
• Work closely with investment advisory, product and frontline teams to translate investment views into practical client ideas and solutions.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and review of selected funds/products and provide timely updates when market conditions or underlying strategies change.
• Contribute to investment-related presentations and materials for internal and external audiences.

Reporting to the Head of Investment, the successful candidate will support the development of the firm's investment views and research across multiple asset classes.

Our client is a well-established financial institution with a growing wealth management and investment advisory platform. As part of the continued expansion of its Investment & Advisory capabilities, they are looking for an investment professional to join the team in a newly created headcount.

Description

• Conduct multi-asset investment research across equities, fixed income, funds and other relevant asset classes.

Profile

• Relevant experience in investment research, fund research, asset allocation, investment advisory or portfolio/product analysis, ideally within private banking, wealth management or asset management.
• Good understanding of multiple asset classes and global financial markets.
• Experience researching and evaluating mutual funds/public funds would be highly relevant.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills with the ability to turn complex market information into clear investment views.
• Comfortable preparing investment publications and presenting research findings to different stakeholders.
• CFA qualification or progress towards CFA would be an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.
