Job summary

Amethyst Partners in Hong Kong is seeking an Investment Specialist to provide guidance across equities, fixed income, funds and other assets for HNWI clients and family offices. You will develop customized investment proposals, conduct portfolio reviews and present ideas to Relationship Managers.

Fluency in Chinese and English is essential, with strong numerical and analytical skills to monitor markets and communicate clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of investment advisory or investment research experience in wealth/asset management.
• Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, funds and other financial products.

Responsibilities

• Provide investment advice across multiple asset classes for HNWI and family offices.
• Develop customized investment proposals and portfolio recommendations based on client objectives and risk tolerance.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Monitor market trends and develop actionable investment ideas for relationship managers and clients.

Our client is a asset and wealth management firm that provides multi-asset investment solutions for HNWI clients, family offices, etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an Investment Specialist and the position is based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide investment advice across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, funds, FX etc
• Develop customized investment proposals and portfolio recommendations based on clients' objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and investment horizon
• Conduct portfolio reviews and identify opportunities for portfolio and investment optimization
• Monitor market trends and development to update actionable investment ideas to Relationship Managers and clients
• Update market outlook and investment product trends to relationship managers and clients
• Support in enhancing investment process and strategies
• Other ad-hoc tasks when necessary

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or other disciplines
• At least 5 years of investment advisory / investment research experience in wealth management or asset management industries
• Strong financial product knowledge eg equities, fixed income, funds, private equity etc
• Strong understanding of financial market trends and development
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English
