Job summary

CLP Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced leader to drive end-to-end AI and data solution delivery on a 2-year contract, guiding business demand intake, solution design, and successful implementation. You will partner with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable designs, manage backlogs, and ensure governance and risk management compliance.

A strong track record in delivering tech, AI, or digital transformation projects is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Information Engineering or related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in project, product, or technology delivery roles.
  • Professional certification in Agile, Scrum, or related methodologies.
  • Proven stakeholder management and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience delivering technology, AI, or digital transformation projects from initiation to implementation.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into practical solution designs and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data solutions, from business demand intake through implementation and outcome measurement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define business objectives.
  • Translate business needs and technical requirements into practical AI and data solution designs.
  • Develop and maintain solution requirements, process documentation, business cases, and implementation plans.
  • Manage and prioritise the delivery backlog, ensuring scope, resources and deployment plans align with priorities.
  • Drive solution delivery across cross-functional teams, coordinating stakeholders and vendors.
  • Apply Agile project management and Scrum methodologies to support delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and progress tracking.

Employment duration: 2-year contract (For internal application, only short-term employment contract’s terms and condition will be offered for this position regardless of job applicant’s current job category)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI and data solutions, from business demand intake and solution design through implementation, user adoption, and outcome measurement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define business objectives.
  • Translate business needs, technical requirements, and delivery constraints into practical and scalable AI and data solution designs.
  • Develop and maintain solution requirements, process documentation, business cases, and implementation plans.
  • Manage and prioritise the delivery backlog, ensuring solution scope, resources, and deployment plans are aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Drive solution delivery across cross-functional teams, coordinating business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors where applicable.
  • Apply Agile project management and Scrum methodologies to support effective delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery, operational, AI, and data-related risks.
  • Coach and support project teams in translating business requirements into technical solutions and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with CLP's project governance framework, AI governance standards, data management policies, and risk management requirements.
  • Measure and track solution performance, business benefits, and adoption outcomes to ensure delivery of agreed business value.
  • Prepare and present project updates, recommendations, and outcome reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Foster collaboration across business and technology teams to drive continuous improvement and successful implementation of AI and data initiatives.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage.

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, with a strong track record in project, product, or technology delivery roles.

Professional certification in Agile, Scrum, or other relevant project delivery methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Proven success in delivering technology, AI, data, or digital transformation projects/programmes from initiation to implementation.

Strong capability in translating business objectives and requirements into practical solution designs, implementation roadmaps, and delivery plans.

Experience identifying business opportunities and use cases, driving process improvements, facilitating user adoption, and measuring business outcomes.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Good understanding of AI, machine learning, data analytics, automation technologies, and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI). Hands‑on development experience is not required, but strong technical fluency is essential.

Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery, AI/data, operational, and implementation risks.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and continuous improvement practices.

Experience working across business and technology teams to drive solution delivery and value realization.
