Job summary

ESF Peak School is seeking a Classroom Teacher to maximise student learning through planning, preparation and delivery of tailored programs for diverse learners. You will differentiate lessons, assess progress, and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment at Peak School in Hong Kong.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education or a related subject with PGCE/PGDE, and familiarity with the PYP framework is advantageous.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

• The primary role of the classroom teacher is to maximise student learning and development through the planning, preparation, and teaching of programs tailored to meet individual learning needs and achieve specific student outcomes.
• Teachers are responsible for delivering lessons across a range of student abilities and classes, ensuring effective differentiation to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Engage in ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to enhance learning outcomes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, cooperation, and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience that addresses the holistic development of each child.
• Engage in critical reflection and professional development to continuously improve knowledge and skills, enhancing student engagement and learning.
• Implement innovative teaching methods and resources, integrating technology to support learning and foster creativity.

General Requirements
