The role involves structuring and executing complex deals, conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating principal documents, and coordinating advice with international counsel across Asia-Pacific, especially Korea.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years PQE in corporate law.
• 2+ years focused on M&A & private equity.
• Top-tier international law firm or leading South Korean firm background.
• Native Korean fluency and professional English.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Exceptional drafting, analytical, and transaction management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, structure, and execute complex cross-border public and private M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures, and strategic divestitures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, disclosure letters, and ancillary deal filings.
• Direct legal due diligence investigations, coordinate specialist teams, and advise clients on corporate governance and regulatory compliance across target jurisdictions.
• Conduct advanced legal research, deliver analytical risk assessments, and prepare clear, actionable legal advice for senior executives and investment committees.
• Liaise directly with corporate clients, domestic and international counsel, and financial advisers across the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in Korea.

• Native Korean fluency (written and spoken) alongside complete professional fluency in English to manage complex negotiations and legal drafting.

• Outstanding academic record from a leading university or law school.

• Exceptional legal drafting, analytical reasoning, transaction management, and client communication skills.
