Job summary

Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices is seeking a Compliance Associate to join its corporate department in Hong Kong.

The role supports a broad range of corporate compliance matters, including advising listed issuers on equity capital markets transactions and general corporate matters under Hong Kong law. The successful candidate will provide regulatory and compliance support to listed companies, handle transactional work such as M&A and connected transactions,

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory framework.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced transactional environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Advise listed issuers to monitor and ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulatory requirements.
• Advise listed issuers on regulatory implications on potential transactions.
• Monitor compliance matters for annual retainer clients.
• Draft and update compliance newsletters checklists training materials.
• Liaise with regulators and external professional parties of the listed issuers for transactions and compliance matters.
• Assist the conduct of compliance trainings.
• Maintain compliance records and reporting systems.
