Job summary

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong invites applicants for a pool operations role focused on guest safety and service excellence. You will assist in the smooth operation of the pool area, respond to guest inquiries, and ensure guest safety and well-being.

Ideal candidates hold a hospitality degree or diploma, have at least two years in a large-scale hotel, and possess an international lifeguard certificate (gold). Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Hospitality / Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years of similar experience in a large-scale hospitality establishment.
• Holder of an international lifeguard certification (gold), with minimum 2 years work experience as fitness instructor or consultant.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the pool area.
• Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints.
• Prioritize guest safety and service, ensuring guest needs come first.

What You Will Do

• To assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the pool area as per the standards laid down.
• Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
• Realize that his/her primary role is to be of service to the guest and that their needs & safety come first.
• Must be completely conversant with first aid & life saving techniques.

Qualifications
