Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is assisting a fully funded high-frequency trading firm that aims to launch its new trading platform. They seek an experienced Lead C++ Developer to guide the team and deliver high-performance financial applications in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, define architecture, and collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to produce robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on C++ development in a financial environment.
• Proven leadership experience with mentoring software engineers.
• Strong multithreading, concurrency, networking and low-level programming skills.
• Scripting knowledge with Python or Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems and exchange protocols.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in English.

• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, networking protocols (TCP/UDP), and low‑level system programming.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation and tooling.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate under pressure.
• Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems, and exchange protocols is highly desirable.
