Job summary

CITIC Securities International Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to manage end-to-end system deliveries for the Commodities business. The ideal candidate will coordinate requirement gathering, translate requirements into specifications, and oversee testing, implementation and deployment with cross-functional teams.

You will need 8–10 years in banking/finance BA, strong English and Chinese communication, and familiarity with Calypso; SQL skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in business analysis within banking/finance.
• Proven experience delivering system projects in Banking/Securities with execellent project management skills
• Good understanding of commodity derivative products will be preferrable
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex situations
• Excellent communication and written skills in English and Chinese
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Past experience with Calypso system is an advantage
• Familiarity with SQL and other scripting languages is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Translate gathered requirements into detailed specifications and collaborate effectively with developers to deliver appropriate solutions.
• Document and maintain functional requirements and design specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define testing strategies and conduct thorough SIT for new features and enhancements, as well as co-ordinate UAT.
• Communicate changes to impacted business users across various departments, including planning and managing changes in processes, operations, and systems.
• Identify and elevate risks while proposing both tactical and strategic solutions to mitigate these risks and provide business support.
• Assist in project coordination and perform administrative tasks as needed to support project progress.
