Job summary

CRFG - EEB JOINT VENTURE in Hong Kong seeks a Land Surveyor to oversee survey operations on construction projects. You will ensure accurate data collection, timely delivery, and contractual and site compliance while working with project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying (or equivalent), with at least two years of relevant HK experience, and proficiency in Total Station, Digital Level, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in Hong Kong.
• Solid practical knowledge of construction site practices.
• Proficiency with survey equipment and software (Total Station, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong communication and organisational skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision and coordination of all survey activities required under the Contract.
• Define survey requirements, procedures, and formats; ensure compliant survey records.
• Plan, set up, and execute in-site surveys on construction sites and analyse data.
• Oversee processing of survey data and prepare accurate records and drawings.
• Coordinate survey sub-contractors to ensure quality and progress.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Clients, and other professionals.
• Identify and communicate potential issues affecting project performance to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Provide overall supervision and coordination of all survey activities required under the Contract

Define survey requirements, procedures, and guidelines; establish submission and distribution formats for survey records in line with contractual requirements

Plan, set up, and execute in-site surveys on construction sites, including site surveys, data analysis, and equipment maintenance

Oversee the processing of survey data and the preparation of accurate records and drawings

Manage and coordinate survey sub-contractors to ensure quality and progress

Work closely with engineering and surveying teams to maintain data integrity and meet project timelines

Communicate potential issues or outcomes that may affect project performance to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Clients, and other professionals

About you

Higher Diploma / Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying (or equivalent qualification)

Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in civil engineering, building construction, or land surveying in Hong Kong

Solid practical knowledge of construction site practices

Proficiency in total station, digital level, and relevant survey software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D)

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills; able to work effectively with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Sub-contractors, Clients, and multi-disciplinary teams

High safety awareness with the ability to identify and respond to site safety issues

Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage

Valid Green Card (Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate)
