Job summary

FENIX GROUP HOLDINGS LTD in Hong Kong is seeking a full-time Knitwear Designer to lead knitwear collection development from concept to production. You will research trends, develop mood boards, sketch designs, and prepare detailed technical specifications for sampling.

Close collaboration with design, merchandising and production teams is essential to refine fits, choose yarns and stitches, and meet cost targets.

Qualifications

Experience in trend research and mood board development for knitwear collections.
Strong hands-on knitting knowledge including yarns, gauges, stitches, and construction techniques.
Proficiency in hand-drawing and/or digital sketching to convey design concepts and technical outlines.
Experience with fitting processes, evaluating samples, revising measurements and improving garment drape.

Responsibilities

Research trends and develop mood boards for knitwear collections.
Sketch designs and prepare technical outlines for sampling and production.
Create detailed technical specifications and bill of materials for sampling and production.
Collaborate with design, merchandising and production teams to refine fits and ensure brand aesthetics and cost targets.
Assist in selecting yarns, stitches and constructions and communicate with factories.
Attend fittings, adjust patterns and constructions, and ensure consistent, high-quality results.
