Job summary

Wisers Information Limited is seeking a Junior System Engineer to help manage our hybrid cloud, KVM, and Linux infrastructure under the Infrastructure Manager. This hands-on role emphasizes daily cloud administration, automation, and data center maintenance, with opportunities to support regional R&D teams and ensure uptime.

The right candidate has a computer science or engineering degree, about two years’ related experience (fresh graduates considered), solid Linux skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• ~2 years’ relevant experience is preferred, fresh graduate will also be considered.
• Solid experience in Linux based environments is highly preferred.
• Hands on experience on hybrid cloud & KVM virtualization infrastructure.
• Adaptable, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid cloud, KVM, and Linux infrastructure to keep critical applications running smoothly.
• Automate system operations and deployments to cut down setup and recovery time.
• Work with the Infrastructure Manager and internal technical teams on technical deliverables.
• Track system performance and troubleshoot issues to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist with routine hardware checks and technical inquiries as needed.
