Job summary

OAC Group Limited is seeking a Junior Execution Trader to support equity trading across Hong Kong, China, North Asia and US-listed markets. You will work under a senior equity trader, coordinating with Portfolio Managers, operations, compliance and risk teams to ensure precise and controlled trade execution.

Candidate should have 1–3 years of equity execution experience, knowledge of OMS/EMS, Bloomberg and Excel, and possess SFC licensing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related discipline.
Approximately 1–3 years of experience in equity execution trading in hedge funds or related buy-side/sell-side environment.
Experience in trade support or middle-office roles with interest to progress into execution trading is welcome.
Exposure to HK, China and North Asia markets, and US-listed ADRs is a plus.
Familiarity with OMS/EMS, Bloomberg, broker platforms and Excel is beneficial.
SFC Licensed Representative qualification is required.
Strong written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese preferred for regional interaction.

Responsibilities

Execute equity orders using algorithmic, limit, VWAP/TWAP, and direct broker execution.
Monitor market conditions, liquidity, volatility and actions affecting execution quality.
Maintain clear communication with senior trader and Portfolio Manager on status and risks.
Enter, amend, route and monitor orders through OMS/EMS and broker platforms.
Perform pre-trade checks and assist with post-trade reviews and allocations.
Support broker relationships and monitor execution quality and costs.
Coordinate with operations, compliance and risk to resolve breaks and issues.
