Job summary

ICBC International is seeking a talented analyst to support day-to-day trade inquiries and assist in end-to-end product development within equity and fixed income structured products. You will coordinate with Trading, Sales, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and Operations to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Economics, 1–3 years of experience, and strong quantitative skills, with Mandarin & English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business or related majors.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in an investment bank, securities firm, or global financial institution.
• Fluent in Mandarin & English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day trade inquiries for equity and fixed income structured products.
• Assist end-to-end product development including payoff design and governance.
• Conduct market research and asset monitoring to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure trade execution and lifecycle management.
• Track pipeline milestones and resolve bottlenecks in a timely manner.

Job description

• Support day-to-day trade inquiries for equity and fixed income structured products (e.g., structured notes, OTC derivatives, and financing structures);
• Assist in end-to-end product development, including payoff design, term sheet drafting, economic scenario back-testing, and internal governance/approval processes;
• Conduct market research, peer analysis, and underlying asset monitoring to identify emerging client themes and structured payoff opportunities;
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Trading, Sales, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Operations) and external counsels to ensure seamless trade execution and lifecycle management;
• Track pipeline milestones and resolve structuring, documentation, or operational bottlenecks in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant majors;
• 1–3 years of relevant experience within an investment bank, securities firm, or global financial institution;
• Good knowledge of structured products mechanics, OTC derivatives, and industry-standard legal documentation (ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, and Note issuance programs) is a strong plus;
• Strong quantitative and analytical mindset; proficiency in financial modeling (Python or VBA is an advantage);
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate across cross-departmental teams;
• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under market pressure and tight execution deadlines;
• Fluent in Mandarin & English (spoken and written).
