Synpulse is expanding its technology team in Hong Kong, crafting solutions for financial institutions with modern tools and agile practices.

As part of a diverse, entrepreneurial squad, you will design and implement Java-based systems, collaborate across regions, and contribute to CI/CD and cloud deployments. The role emphasizes learning AI-enabled approaches and delivering high-impact software in a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• Strong core Java skills with OO design experience.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React).
• Domain-driven design and Event/Message driven architectures including MQs, Kafka.
• Microservices and caching technologies.
• Manage high volume data processing and document databases.
• Quick learner with ability to understand system functions.
• Experience in DevOps and agile practices.
• Strong experience in cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Strong developer with high quality engineering and problem solving skills.
• Continuously support and contribute to the core library and system design.
• Design and implement technology features.
• Conduct code reviews, technical design and architecture reviews.
• Perform system enhancement and monitor performance and to document any application changes.
• Work closely with technical and cross functional teams, regional senior stakeholders.
• Adopt Agile and CI/CD practices; embrace DevOps culture.
• Demonstrate leadership and team-oriented collaboration.
