Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume, scalable backend microservices and APIs.
• Deploy containerized core applications to cloud infrastructure, ensuring maximum system availability.
• Implement secure transaction architectures and real-time message streaming for payment workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 3–8+ years of hands‑on Java backend development experience (Java 8/11/17+).
• Proficiency in Spring Boot/Cloud, RESTful APIs, microservices, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), cloud platforms (AWS), Docker/Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Solid understanding of the payments domain, high‑availability systems, security best practices (encryption, OAuth, PCI‑DSS), and DevOps/automated testing.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, a high sense of ownership, and the agility to work independently while supporting team coordination.
• Excellent English communication skills, with Cantonese or Mandarin fluency being a major plus.
