Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced technical lead to drive the development, delivery, and capacity planning of our core MOBO applications, middleware, and messaging systems. This role balances expert-level development with mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide architectural guidance, lead capacity planning, and emphasize a culture of TDD and test automation while continually evaluating new technologies to keep the ecosystem modern.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must-have: Java, Spring, Docker, SQL, Linux scripting, and Git/Bamboo/Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Domain focus on Cash Equities business workflows and front-to-back architectures.
• Strong multitasking and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Mandarin communication ability desirable.

Requirements

• Core Technical Stack (Must-Have): Advanced expertise in Java, Spring, Docker, SQL, Linux scripting, and CI/CD tools (Git, Bamboo, Jenkins).
• Domain Focus: A strong desire to master Cash Equities business workflows and front-to-back system architectures.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to multitask, handle tight deadlines under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic team.
• Preferred Assets:
  • Background in Investment Banking, high-throughput systems, or Cash Equities workflows.
  • Familiarity with secondary tech stack items (.Net, Tibco, Angular, Apache Ignite).
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin.
