Job summary

Galaxy Entertainment Group seeks an Analyst - Application Development to design, develop and maintain secure backend apps and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in computer science or equivalent major.
• Proficient in Java and enterprise API development using Spring Boot / Hibernate.
• Fluent English with good Cantonese or Mandarin communication.
• Able to work in a stressful, demanding environment and self-motivated.
• Experience with modern web/mobile applications and cloud integrations is a plus.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure enterprise backend applications and microservices primarily using Java.
• Build, test, and deploy cloud integration workflows, data pipelines, and API services.
• Develop the application and solution in line with coding standards and practices.
• Ensure the security, capacity, performance and availability of systems in data and cloud perspectives.
• Cooperate with external vendors to deliver the project timely with quality.
• Design and develop the application solutions to meet business needs (native, web, mobile, API).
• Cooperate with distributed teams to design and develop the application solutions to meet requirements.
• Engage users with project manager for requirement gathering, implementation, testing and adoption.
