Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Java backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable services using Java 11+. You will build RESTful APIs for policy management, claims processing, and billing, while writing clean, well-tested code and ensuring data privacy across financial records.

You will collaborate with business analysts, frontend developers, and QA teams to ship features on time and optimize performance and database queries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot/Spring MVC.
• Proficient with relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Financial services, fintech, or insurance domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
