Job summary

Venturenix Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Security Specialist / Analyst to support the organization’s security posture through reviews, risk assessments, audits, and privacy impact assessments. You will liaise with system owners and IT teams, plan and coordinate security initiatives, monitor milestones, and assist in planning contractor deliverables.

Occasional after-hours support may be required to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in computer science or relevant studies.
• Experience in IT project implementation, production support, and programming.
• Experience in security incident detection and response is preferred.
• Experience in managing Web Application Firewalls (WAF) is preferred.
• Experience with IT security scanning tools is preferred.
• Experience in arranging and/or conducting IT security assessments and audit exercises is preferred.
• Experience in server virtualization technology, Windows Server, and Linux system administration is preferred.
• Relevant certifications are an advantage, such as: ITIL, CISA, CISSP, CISP, or OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional).
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese.

• Perform other assigned duties by the supervisor, including occasional overtime or after-hours support when required.
