Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Security Engineer to join the security team of a leading financial services firm. The role focuses on hands-on security engineering, project delivery, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

You will lead POC and evaluations, deploy and manage security tools, ensure compliance with security standards, and contribute to data, application, database, and web security initiatives. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in CS, Engineering, or Information Security.
• Experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in data, application, database, or web security.
• Experience with POC, testing, deployment or evaluation of security solutions.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IT security initiatives and projects.
• POC, test, and evaluate security solutions and technologies.
• Implement, deploy, and manage security tools.
• Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders and vendors on security programs.
• Support data, application, database, and web security initiatives.
• Provide BAU support and governance of security tools.
• Maintain deployment and governance processes for security tools.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving related to security solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
