Skyline Capital Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks an IT Developer / QC (Quality Assurance Engineer) to define end-to-end test strategies, perform comprehensive QA across web and mobile apps, and ensure data integrity and secure SDLC practices in a rapidly evolving education platform.
You will validate frontend/back-end systems, run API, UI, and AI-related tests, review code for quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust, scalable product.
Skyline Capital is managing this search on behalf of a long-established partner in the education sector with over 50 years of history.
Define and execute comprehensive front-to-back system test plans to drive robust system development and maintain strict IT quality control.
Conduct rigorous testing across all phases—including unit, integration, stress, capacity, performance, security, and UAT with a strong focus on data integrity and input/edit validation.
Validate functionality across the entire technology ecosystem, spanning customer-facing platforms (mobile apps, PC portals), connectivity (5G/Wi-Fi), CMS, databases, backend cloud/network infrastructure, and AI-integrated features.
Design and execute evaluation benchmarks for enterprise GenAI and retrieval pipelines, with a focus on output validation, hallucination mitigation, and edge-case handling across structured and unstructured knowledge bases.
Review code line-by-line to ensure quality, with a focus on structure, efficiency, scalability, and cross-environment mix. Identify edge cases, and catch issues early in the development cycle. Leverage code review, static analysis and automation tools to make the review process efficient, consistent and scalable. Beyond code review, derive strategic and tactical approaches to improve code efficiency and overall development quality.
Apply cyber security experience to ensure a secure SDLC and secure deployment across the front-to-back environment. Embed security controls, secure coding practices, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment and remediation into development and QA processes, and work with engineering teams to ensure security is built into systems rather than tested in at the end.
