Job summary

Chiyu Banking Corp Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an IT Business Analyst (Payment Systems) to analyse business and system requirements for HK payment platforms. You will liaison between business users and developers, ensuring clear requirements and timely delivery of payment-system projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor degree in CS or related field, 3–5 years in system development with at least 2 in BA, and hands-on Linux/Oracle DB experience, SDLC, SIT/UAT, and version control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in system development and implementation, at least 2 years in BA or system analysis.
• Familiar with FPS, CHATS and SWIFT in Hong Kong.
• Hands-on project development, system maintenance, Linux and Oracle DB.
• Experience in SDLC, SIT/UAT, and Version Control Management.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills; English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

IT Business Analyst (Payment Systems) - Information Technology Department

Business & System Analysis: Understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools, with a specific focus on the business logic analysis of Hong Kong payment systems (e.g.FPS, CHATS, SWIFT); deeply understand function and impact of payment system and related system;

Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between business users and technical developers to ensure that business requirements for payment systems and other related systems are well-defined and accurately implemented;

Project Advancement & Risk Management: Assist in the concrete implementation and delivery of projects; proactively manage potential risks throughout the project development lifecycle, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures when necessary;

Testing & Version Management: Responsible for system testing and product version management;

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;

HKIB banking professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) preferred;

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in system development and implementation, with at least 2 years in business analysis or system analysis role, and a proven track record in business requirement discussions and documentation;

Familiar with the local financial and payment systems in Hong Kong; proficient in the operational workflows and development of FPS, CHATS, and SWIFT systems;

Possess hands‑on project development, system maintenance, system analysis experience in Linux environments and Oracle DB;

Solid experience in handling tasks and documentation in the full SDLC, system testing (SIT & UAT), and Version Control Management;

Strong analytical and report-writing skills; proven analytical skills in writing the business requirement document and functional specification document;

Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure;

Well‑versed written and verbal English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
