Job summary

Financial Group is seeking an Investment Consultant, Business Development Manager to join its Business Platform in Hong Kong. The role focuses on delivering investment advisory services, developing tactical plans, and supporting sales channels to grow AUM.

Candidates should have 4–8 years in banking or asset management, CFA qualification is advantageous, and strong English/Chinese communication skills. SFC Type 1 license and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related disciplines; CFA advantageous.
• Minimum 4–8 years in banking or asset management with knowledge of investment products and fund distribution.
• SFC Type 1 license holder.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship skills.
• Ability to comply with regulatory and internal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales channels to share investment views and strategies.
• Strategize investment ideas and prepare market commentaries and updates for channel partner support to grow AUM and meet targets.
• Support sales through pre-case studies, presentations, and joint calls for funds/portfolio products to boost revenue.
• Deliver regular reports and quarterly updates with channel partners.
• Develop sales capacity, provide coaching, training, and advisory support while ensuring compliance.
• Build strong relationships with channels and partners, understanding relevant rules and mandates.
